Linus just announced on his G+ that Linux Kernel 3.0-rc7 need extra testing before Kernel 3.0 final release.

If anyone want to give it a try, there's an Ubuntu guide here.

 

But of course you need to change repository that you are cloning. For this Kernel, use:

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/next/linux-next.git
